Each year the School of Law profiles one or two members from each of the classes celebrating reunions in the fall. These stories are run in a weekly series on the Oregon Law homepage leading up to the reunion weekend:

In 1999-2000, the cost of our education was $10,898 for in-state and $14,844 for out-of-state residents. The 2010-2011 in-state tuition cost is $24,114 and out-of-state is $30,043. This figure doesn't include the cost of living, books, bar exam study materials or other expenses.
As we prepare for our 10th reunion, we thought it would be nice if we built on something that we started during our 3L year - the Tom Foster Scholarship. Most recently given to SBA president and super-student Sandy Weintraub, the scholarship and its signature event - the Duck Dash (formerly the Foster Fun Run) - have been a staple at the University of Oregon for eleven years. Tom's memory is honored each year, usually during homecoming at this event.
We think that our class is philanthropic enough that we can get 67% of the Class of 2000 to chip in something. To encourage participation, we will raffle off two tickets to the Oregon vs. Washington game at our reunion. Each donation is good for one entry into the drawing. If you chip in $100, you will get a free 2010 Tom Foster t-shirt AND an additional entry into the drawing. For each $100 after that - you get an additional entry. Can't go to the game? Sell the tickets and make some bucks!
Please join us in giving to this worthy effort.
You can also contribute to this fund on the reunion registration form.
