We're looking for 4 to 6 people to help provide us with input for the weekend. Email Jay Klein at jklein@uoregon.edu if you are interested in helping.
In 1965, the total cost of a three-year legal education at theUniversity of Oregon was only $960 both for in-state andout-of-state residents. In May 2010, in-state Oregon Law students willgraduate with $62,494 of debt. Out-of-state students will havegraduated with $77,824 of educational debt. This figure doesn'tinclude the cost of living, books, bar exam study materials or otherexpenses.
Added to this is the fact that only 8.5% of theUniversity of Oregon's budget is provided by the State of Oregon. Oregon Law is essentially operating as a private institution with apublic mission. Thus, we need your support more than ever.
Traditionally, reunion classes come together to raise money for the law school. The thought is that collectively, the group can make a significant difference to meeting one area of need of the law school. The Steering Committee typically chooses the fund from the list on this page. Once a fund is chosen, more information will be provided in this space.
