Sports Business and the Law Conference (Portland)

The University of Oregon presents the First Annual "Sports Business and
the Law" symposium on January 23rd from 9am - 4pm. The goal is to
bring sports professionals together to discuss how lawyers can best
serve their industry.
Representatives of Nike, adidas, BDA Sports Management, the Portland Trail Blazers, Sport Management Worldwide, the University of Oregon, Willamette University, and many other sports businesses will discuss the following topics:
- The Law of Sports Leagues
- Sports Business In-House Counsel
- Agents, Contracts and Negotiation
- The NCAA and Legal Compliance
Early registration through January 21st is $40 for professionals and $15 for students. Late registration starts on January 22nd at 3:00pm and will be $50 for non-students and $20 for students. Registration is available until noon on the day of the event. Lunch is included in the price of admission.
